Job Title: EP Lab Technologist: Electrophysiology / Cardiology
Location: Washington, DC
Setting: Short Term Acute Care; Teaching Hospital; Top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country
Pay Range: $58.05 - $60.95 per hour
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week Day/Evening (0700-1700 / 1100 - 2100 - 2 days of late case coverage per week) (Note: 4x10-Hour shifts)
Contract Length: 2 years
Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an EP Lab Technologist
- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology labs
- Qualified applicants MUST have ACLS, BLS, and RCES/RCIS certifications
- Preferred: ARRT, Fluoro permit
- Valid State license required; willing to obtain additional licensure if necessary
- Skills required: Cerner, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Hemodynamic monitoring / Ablations, EKG Settings and Experience, Inpatient and Outpatient care, Vitals, Sinus node rhythms
- Equipment experience: Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, GE Micropacer (required); 3D mapping biosense, Abbott/ESI, Siemens X-Ray, GE/Abott EP4, ViewMate, Siemens U/Sound, GE U/Sound, Laser lead machines (preferred)
- Skills preferred: Groin closure device, Peripherals, Laser lead extraction

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a hospital setting, you will perform advanced electrophysiology procedures, assist with complex cardiac ablations, and support patient care with key skills such as hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation. Responsibilities include managing EP lab equipment, assisting with device implants and lead extractions, and ensuring procedural success with attention to safety and precision.
