Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse : Cardiac Care
Location: Towson, MD
Setting: CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU)
Pay Range: $59.54 - $62.52 per hour
Schedule: 36H Nights (3x12-Hour, 19:00 - 07:30)
Contract Length: Start date 07/20/2026 (Ongoing assignment)
Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a RN
• Qualified applicants MUST have MD RN license, BLS, CPI, and ACLS
• Preferred: NIH, OCN, and TCNN certifications
• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Be willing to obtain Maryland licensure if not already licensed
• Willingness to float to MSICU as needed
• On-call 24-32 hours per rotating 8-week schedule

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a clinical setting, you will manage post-op cardiac surgery patients, including those on multiple inotropic medications, active management of cardiac output, and patients with hemodynamic instability. Your duties include monitoring patients with complex diagnoses such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR, and STEMI/NSTEMI, ensuring optimal care during your night shift. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing continuous patient assessment.
