Job Details:
- Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
- Location: Chambersburg, PA
- Setting: Hospital
- Pay Range: 45.28 - 47.54
- Schedule: 06:45 - 19:15
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:
- Assist with sterile speculum exams (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
- Conduct Non Stress Tests (NST), reflex checks, edema assessment, clonus
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients
- Use of External Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) and Internal Fetal Monitoring
- Manage diabetes mellitus, multiple gestation, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, VBAC, and trial of labor cases
- Administer blood & blood products, start and maintain IVs, and administer antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate, Pitocin
- Assist with vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, including circulating for C-section and recovering the patient
- Conduct newborn assessments, assist with epidural anesthesia, and manage pain assessment & relief
- Support breastfeeding and lactation needs
- Care for fundus, lochia, perineum, and provide couplet care while observing isolation precautions/PPE
