Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members on the Neuro Med/Surg unit.
- Perform clinical duties such as starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintaining surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
- Assist with patient documentation using Meditech and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
- Collaborate with unit staff and support team members during assigned shifts.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to enhance patient experience.
