Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical assessment to identify patient needs and appropriateness of therapy.
• Document, prepare/review, and complete a Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, phone orders, and other clinical records; revise POC based on evaluations and assessment data.
• Plan and provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referral and assessments.
• Assist/instruct patients and families in transfer techniques, use of equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces, prosthetics, and appliances.
• Utilize appropriate therapy equipment specific to patient diagnosis and needs; order and adapt rehabilitative equipment as necessary.
• Provide patient/family education regarding therapeutic procedures tailored to the patient's age, condition, culture, and learning readiness.
• Oversee other team members as applicable, ensuring patient care aligns with patients’ needs and preferences.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities to prevent contamination and disease transmission.
• Accept clinical assignments suitable to your education and competence level.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
