Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, observing, assessing, and recording symptoms, reactions, and progress.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations, and monitor restrained patients on a timely basis.
• Respond to medical emergencies with immediate care, including first aid and coordinating transportation to emergency services.
• Conduct nursing rounds, take and record vital signs, and prepare documentation for patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff, participate in staff development, and review care plans.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, oxygen administration, and other advanced nursing duties as required.
• Lead or assist in organizing emergency response teams such as 'code blue,' and oversee team activities.
• Manage workload and assign duties to lower-level staff when necessary, including reviewing care and providing staff training.
