Job Details:
- Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Towson, MD
- Setting: Hospital
- Pay Range: 59.74 - 62.73
- Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
- Requirements: MD RN, BLS, CPI, and ACLS required; NIH, OCN, and TCNN preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care to post-op cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, MVR, AVR, and structural heart procedures.
- Manage patients on active inotropic medications, hemodynamic monitoring, and support for extreme coagulopathy.
- Respond to cardiac emergencies such as STEMI/NSTEMI and cardiogenic shock.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt to rotating night/mid shifts, with potential for on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled.
