Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult patients in a 24-bed IMC unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5.
• Manage neuro stepdown, cardiac telemetry, and post-MI care, including cardiac caths and angiograms.
• Perform IV starts, port access, PICC, central & peripheral line care, and blood product administration.
• Care for respiratory needs, including trach management, oxygen delivery, chest tube management, ABG interpretation, and non-invasive support.
• Manage GI feeding tubes and administer medications such as PCA, procedural sedation, and vasoactive drips.
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and utilize rapid response protocols.
• Maintain wound care, isolation precautions, renal failure management, and pre/post-hemodialysis care.
• Document in EPIC with at least one year of experience, floating as needed within qualified units.
