Responsibilities:

• Manage ECMO devices during bedside cannulation and cannula repositioning procedures.
• Collaborate with ICU RN and RT teams to ensure optimal device management following ECMO protocols.
• Work in PICU with pediatric patients and in CVICU with adult patients requiring ECMO support.
• Maintain proficiency with ECMO specialty devices and required CMEs.
• Adhere to ICU care standards, providing critical support for patients with post-cardiac surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, ARDS, and other acute illnesses.
• Ensure compliance with all certification and licensure requirements, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and SC RN license.
• Follow provider team directions and ECMO order sets to deliver high-quality patient care.
