Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)

Location: Parkersburg, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2218.36 - 2329.28

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:30 (Rotating)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS; ACLS; NIHSS; Must have at least 1 year of critical care experience; Prior travel preferred. Must be competent with CRRT, IABP, Vents, post-code/therapeutic hypothermia & skilled with all vasoactive medications, sedation, & paralytics. RN required to titrate drips and perform care/removal of Central lines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with diagnoses such as Sepsis, PNA, COVID, CHF, COPD, DKA, OD, Renal Failure, Neurosurgeries, MI, and Vascular patients.
• Titrate and monitor titratable drips within ordered parameters.
• Perform care and removal of Central lines and other invasive procedures.
• Monitor and interpret ICU patient vitals, read strips, and admit to Phillips monitoring system.
• Collaborate with ICU team including RTs, Tele Techs, and physicians to deliver optimal patient care.
• Cover charge nurse and house supervisor shifts as needed, including nights and weekends.
• Float to Stepdown and MedSurg units as required.
