Job Details:

Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)

Location: Harris, NY

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2185.60 - 2294.88

Schedule: 3p-3a, 7p-7a

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Active New York State Nursing License in good standing

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department serving all ages.
Obtain and maintain ACLS and PALS certifications.
Adhere to nurse/patient ratios of 1:3 - 1:5.
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.
Read strips and manage drips and vents as required.
Collaborate with hospitalist team and support staff during shifts.
Follow hospital-specific protocols and protocols for stroke center care.
Complete floor-specific orientation and training as needed.
Contribute to a team providing care in a NYS Designated Stroke Center.
