Job Details:

Job Title: IMC Registered Nurse

Location: Charleston, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1811.47 - 1902.04

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS, ACLS; PALS (preferred, not required); 2 years current experience in IMC or equivalent; WV/Compact RN License (pending accepted); COVID vaccine preferred; Flu shot required with medical proof if refused.

Responsibilities:

• Provide intermediate level nursing care in a 15-bed IMC unit with invasive monitoring capabilities.
• Monitor arterial and central venous pressures, and manage post-TAVR, CEA, and femoral bypass patients.
• Administer critical medications and respiratory ventilation, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage patient needs accordingly.
• Float within scope as needed and adhere to hospital protocols for shift coverage.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort through careful monitoring and intervention.
