Responsibilities:
- Provides professional nursing care to inmates or consumers housed in state-owned/operated facilities or clinics.
- Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, and takes vital signs.
- Prepares and administers prescribed medications, treatment plans, and immunizations.
- Monitors restrained patients and provides immediate medical attention to emergencies.
- Organizes and oversees 'code blue' teams and directs healthcare staff assigned to the area.
