Job Title: BACKFILL-CONTRACT - PHYSICAL THERAPIST (762) - 13 WEEKS - 7:30A-4:00P
Location: Austin, TX
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: Varies by assignment. Contact your recruiter for details.
Schedule: 07:30 - 16:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements:
- CWS-Certified Wound Specialist or Board Certification in Wound Care
- Experience with LVAD, Impella, Balloon Pump, Cardiac surgeries
- Acute care experience including ICU/CCU, may be the only PT on weekends
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to cardiac and post-surgical patients in a hospital setting
- Assist with open heart, TAVR, LVAD implants, and other cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Participate in a high level of coordination and communication throughout each shift
- Maintain documentation in Meditech EMR
