Job Details:

Job Title: Radiation Therapist Radiology / Cardiology

Location: Arlington, VA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2539.23 - 2666.19

Schedule: 07:00 - 15:30

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS; ARRT (T); Min exp required: 2 years; VA license. Or license from another state and proof of application of VA license. They will allow the temp process here! Documentation in ARIA (Epic preferred); General skills: CBCT/kV/mV imaging; Dosimetry Systems: IMRT, Electron Beam Therapy; Specialty Treatment Experience: Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments; Specialty Cancers/Illnesses Experience: Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials; Linear Accelerator Experience: Varian TrueBeam; Accepts first time travelers; The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st). If requesting religious or medical exemption, verify compliance with CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Administer Radiation Therapy treatments on Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator.
Operate imaging systems such as CBCT, kV, and mV imaging for precise treatment delivery.
Manage patient caseloads of 30-40 adults and geriatric patients daily.
Document treatment procedures accurately using ARIA (Epic preferred).
Ensure compliance with safety protocols including BLS and vaccination requirements.
