Job Details:
Job Title: Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse
Location: Arlington, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1908.01 - 2003.41
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Rotating)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission; BLS; ACLS; 2 yrs of RN experience; Strong cardiac tele/stepdown nurse with experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmia; Experience working with CVSD patients and telemetry
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care to cardiac surgery patients in the stepdown ward post-ICU.
- Manage chest tubes and monitor for dysrhythmias efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient status and interventions accurately using electronic medical records.
- Adhere to hospital protocols related to telemetry and cardiac care.
