We’re currently looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Psych / Intellectual Disability - 2nd Shift for a Jail contract.
Job Details:
Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Psych / Intellectual Disability - 2nd Shift
Location: Lubbock, TX
Setting: Jail
Pay Range: $1500 - $1650 weekly
Schedule: 2p-10p, every other weekend
Contract Length: 6 month contract
Candidate Type: Local or travel candidates
Requirements: Minimum one year of LPN experience. Psych experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and ongoing clinical support for adult patients in a residential care environment.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient status updates accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care needs, including behavioral considerations.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, escalating concerns per facility protocols.
- Support safe, respectful care delivery for patients with varying levels of independence and assistance needs.
