Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Location: Columbia, SC

Pay Range: 1791.07 - 1880.62

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; Must have Ortho Experience; 1 yr of EPIC experience required; Must have an active SC or multistate license; Weekend requirement: Every Other; 6 weekend shifts; Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes; Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to submittal instructions. Call off policy: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; Floating required to other units or campuses as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries such as laminectomies, spinal fusions, and discectomies.
• Administer bedside lumbar punctures, post-Cath care, post-surgical care, post renal biopsies, CT Angio, and Heparin drips.
• Collaboration with physical therapy, pain management, and mobility support teams.
• Monitor patients with diagnoses including Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, and PE.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed with documented competencies.
