Job Details:
Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse
Location: Glen Burnie, MD
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2092.00 - 2196.60
Schedule: 20:00 - 08:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN MD state license; BLS
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a mixed med-surg telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patient status for general med-surg, tele, and specialized diagnoses such as COPD, urology, gyn, cellulitis/wound care, palliative, infectious processes, gastrointestinal issues, post-surgery recovery, observation, and cardiac cath recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
- Participate in required holiday and weekend shifts, including every other weekend.
- Float within the specialty and to other units or sister facilities as needed.
