Job Details:
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2077.60 - 2181.48
Schedule: 07:00 - 19:30 (Rotating)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: All submittals must include a non-expired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license. EPIC experience required. Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps. BLS certification. Experience or skills in neuro and med-surg patients, including elective surgeries and fractures. Ability to manage IV fluids & PCA pumps.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care for a unit featuring private rooms and a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Administer medications, including IV fluids and PCA pumps, and monitor patient vitals.
- Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and PCTs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and documentation in EPIC.
- Float to other MedSurg units and adjust to staffing needs as required.
