Pay Range: 2567.00 - 2695.35
Schedule: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM (Late shifts to complete cases)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up.
Responsibilities:

• Perform ophthalmology procedures including cataract and cornea surgeries independently.
• Scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery procedures within the ophthalmology unit.
• Adhere to shift schedules and respond promptly to weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements.
• Float to other surgical departments as needed.
• Complete hospital and unit-specific orientation before beginning duties.
