Job Details:
- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Private Duty Nurse
- Location: Martinsburg, WV
- Setting: School
- Pay Range: $30.50 - $36.71
- Schedule: Full-time
- Contract Length: 2026 - 2027 School Year
- Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly.
- Preferred: Pediatric experience preferred but not required; willing to obtain state licensure if not licensed.
- Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Must have at least 2 years of experience as an RN.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to students within the school setting in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Administer medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student’s educational participation and inclusion.
- Support student health needs through care coordination and emergency response.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student health records and interventions.
