Job Details:

Job Title: Surgical Tech

Location: Martinsburg, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2432.40 - 2554.02

Schedule: Discuss with recruiter.

Contract Length: 13 weeks or longer contract!

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery. No new travelers or new clinicians. We need strong experience and would prefer travel experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases, including open, robotic, endoscopic, and minimally invasive procedures.

• Support surgical team during procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hernia repair, mediport, EGD, and stent placements.

• Float within other services of Berkeley OR as needed.

• Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure surgical readiness.

• Respond to on-call requests within 30 minutes and participate in holiday call rotations.

• Support unit orientation for new team members.
