Pay Range: 3163.20 - 3321.36

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries.
• Support surgical teams during procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, transplant, lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hernia repair, mediport placement, EGD, and stent placements.
• Assist with vascular procedures including angiography, endarterectomy, dialysis access, AAA repair, arterial interventions, and amputations.
• Collaborate with OR staff, including charge nurses and supervisors, to ensure smooth surgical operations.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls during on-call shifts, maintaining a response time of 30 minutes.
• Float within other services of Berkeley OR as needed.
• Complete unit orientation prior to start.
