Job Details:
Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)
Location: Bay City, TX
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2144.56 - 2251.79
Schedule: 12 hr shifts 7-7; 5 on 5 off, 2 on 2 off matrix.
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; 2-3 years in ICU; NIHSS preferred; must be very competent with vents or capable of being educated; must have PALS in hand to submit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting with low block scheduling.
- Monitor and intervene for patients including those on vents, sedation, antiarrhythmic meds, and insulin.
- Collaborate with hospital staff including hospitalists and ER docs.
- Manage cardiac drips and patient monitoring as expected.
- Adapt to floating between MedSurg and ER depending on experience and hospital needs.
