Job Details:
Job Title: RN - Endoscopy/GI Lab
Location: Alexandria, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1787.29 - 1876.65
Schedule: 18:30 - 04:00 (Rotating)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Minimum 2 years Endoscopy RN experience; BLS (AHA only) and ACLS required; PALS preferred; Must pass ECG competency exam on Day 1 (pass/fail, one attempt); Strong IV skills required
Responsibilities:
- Provide endoscopy and GI lab nursing care in a hospital setting
- Support both outpatient and inpatient procedures
- Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care for ECT procedures three times per week
- Float to preop on days without GI cases or overstaffed
- Maintain documentation and adhere to unit protocols
