We’re currently looking for a Backfill - Travel - RN - CVICU- ICU (650) - Trident Medical Center - 7:00AM - 7:00PM for a Hospital contract.

Job Title: Backfill - Travel - RN - CVICU- ICU (650) - Trident Medical Center - 7:00AM - 7:00PM

Location: North Charleston, SC

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1737.84 - 1824.73

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients and have comfort in managing patients on the ventilator. Bedside shift report will occur on every patient with each transfer of care. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Prior CVICU Experience. Valid BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke scale certifications.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized ICU care for adult patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting.
Monitor and manage ventilated patients, including those on advanced hemodynamics and CRRT.
Perform procedures such as post-op CABG, Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, and neuro procedures like EVDs and bolts.
Document patient care and hand-offs using bedside shift reports.
Float to emergency department or PCU as needed, following hospital policies on floating.
