Job Title: TRAVEL - RN - PCU - COST CENTER (633) - 7:00PM - 7:00AM

Location: Nashville, TN

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1754.56 - 1842.29

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have : Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills. ACLS. Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems. Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred. Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to adult patients in the PCU unit, including post-cardiac cath and stroke patients.
• Administer and monitor infusions such as cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips.
• Perform procedures like peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech and communicate effectively using AIDET and communication boards.
• Float between PCU units and med-surg floors as needed, ensuring consistency in patient care.
