Requirements: BLS is required; Manual Therapy experience is required; Dry Needling and Hand Therapy experience are preferred; 3 years of current outpatient physical therapy experience; Maryland state or compact PT license required; Outpatient Clinic experience; Community hospital experience; Experience with geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic patient populations; Adaptive-device, assistive-device, body-mechanics, pain, sensory-response, skin-integrity, strength-testing, and vital-sign assessment experience; Assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan-of-care, short-term goal, and time-management documentation experience; Crutch and gait-belt experience; Lower-extremity prosthetic experience; Shoulder-sling and soft/hard-collar experience; Traction-table experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital outpatient setting.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document patient progress.
• Utilize equipment such as crutches, gait-belts, traction tables, and prosthetic devices to support patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and management of medical devices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care and meet patient needs.
