Job Title: Stepdown/IMC/PCU | RN - Registered Nurse

Pay Range: 3149.88 - 3307.37
Schedule: 12's: Must be on the unit ready to go by 6:45 am/pm. Shifts run from 7a - 7p. Self-scheduling is allowed as long as the needs of the unit are met. Staff are allowed 4 requested days off per month
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to intermediate care unit patients including chest pain, r/o MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post pacer, pre/post caths, and overflow patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, Heparin, and occasionally Lasix.
• Assist with managing ventilators and respiratory equipment, supporting RTs in their tasks.
• Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist teams, including 24/7 in-house coverage, to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Float as needed into MedSurg areas with ratios up to 1:6 or 1:7, following floor-specific orientation protocols.
