Job Details:
Job Title: CVOR Tech Surgical Services
Location: Toledo, OH
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2521.80 - 2647.89
Schedule: 06:45 - 17:15
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 2 years of operating Room (OR) experience, or minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Technician in Operating Room. Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification preferred. BLS Required. Able to function during stressful situations. Will be required to rotate shifts as needed, work weekends and take call. Physical requirements: visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable; ability to hear (with or without aides); ability to orally communicate; good manual dexterity; ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally; ability to stand, walk frequently; ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel frequently; and ability to perform CPR.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub cardiothoracic and vascular cases, including open heart procedures.
- Assist with vascular and cardiovascular cases, including hybrid procedures.
- Support surgical teams during stressful and on-call situations.
- Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Maintain adherence to safety and procedural standards in the operating room.
