Job Details:
Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Setting: Psychiatric Hospital
Pay Range: 1925.08 - 2021.33
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night, 3x12-Hour)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Travel
Requirements: 1.5 or 2 years of Psychiatric/Behavioral Health, recent experience required; RN License in hand at time of submission; experience with Children, adolescents, and adults; EMR: Epic (required); CPR training; ability to step in as charge nurse as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric and behavioral health nursing care to children, adolescents, and adults in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Step in as charge nurse when needed, supporting staff and managing patient needs.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic EMR system.
- Participate in CPI training and implement de-escalation techniques.
