Job Details:
Job Title: Interventional Radiology | RN - Registered Nurse
Location: Port Charlotte, FL
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2218.20 - 2329.11
Schedule: 09:00 - 17:30 (On-call rotation; every other weekend and holidays in rotation)
Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure; current American Heart Association BLS certification; American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer; NIHSS Stroke Education Certification and minimum 1 year of experience; minimum 1 year of Critical Care, ICU, or ER experience
Responsibilities:
- Carry out physician orders and administer medications.
- Perform initial assessments, develop plans of care, and review laboratory results and patient medical history.
- Insert and remove intravenous lines while monitoring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, follow-up care, and discharge instructions.
- Assist as a circulator or scrub nurse with the interventional radiology technologist during procedures when needed.
