Job Details:

Job Title: ICU | RN - Registered Nurse
Location: Alexandria, LA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2176.08 - 2284.88
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts; every other weekend; holiday requirements)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: Willingness to care for COVID-19 patients; ICU experience; positive attitude; flexibility; teamwork; desire for excellence; self-motivated; good communication and people skills; ability to work in a diverse environment; ventilator management; critical care drip knowledge; thorough and accurate assessment skills; proficient knowledge of cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems; proper donning and doffing of PPE; ACLS and BLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide total patient care in the Medical ICU.
• Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and advanced ICU equipment.
• Perform thorough and accurate assessments of cardiac, neurological, and respiratory systems.
• Support procedures including intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain management, IABP management, CRRT, and patient proning.
• Provide compassionate, connected care through hourly rounding, bedside handoff reporting, and effective communication.
