We’re looking for a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) for the 2025/2026 school year. Whether you’re a seasoned school professional or a new grad, you’ll have the support, resources, and community you need to thrive—both in and out of the classroom.
Job Title: COTA - Schools
Location: City, State
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: Amount (Pay based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: Number of Weeks, e.g., 42 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a COTA
- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in school-based therapy/occupational therapy assistant and all required certifications/degrees
- Valid COTA license (state license/registration as required)
- Be willing to obtain state licensure
Responsibilities
- Provide support to occupational therapists and assist with implementing therapeutic services for students in educational settings.
- Support students with skill-building activities aligned to care plans (as directed by the OT) to promote functional independence.
- Participate in collaborative planning with school staff and families to support student goals throughout the academic year.
