Job Details:

• Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Schools
• Location: Aberdeen, WA
• Setting: School
• Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour
• Schedule: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00
• Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year
• Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly, Local candidates only – travel stipend not available; Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available
• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in school setting
• Requirements: Valid Occupational Therapist license, willing to obtain Washington licensure

Responsibilities: As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will:

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students, including IEP meetings, direct therapy, and nursing care.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to tailor services to each student’s needs.
• Treat students with communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency issues.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
• Work with children in various classroom settings and provide additional services based on student needs.
