Description
Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week with self-scheduling available; flexible weekend coverage based on unit needs
Highlights:
- Specialized care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients in a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Oncology unit
- Patient ratio goal of 1:4, maximum 1:5
- Self-scheduling system with preference requests to accommodate work-life balance
- Comprehensive 72-hour orientation program including dedicated preceptor support
- Strong interdisciplinary team including Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Physical Therapy, and Social Services
- EPIC charting system for streamlined documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; oncology experience preferred
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS Chemo Certification and NIHSS preferred
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line management
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references (at least one from a manager or formal leadership role)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Additional Information:
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing

- Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility
