Schedule: 13-16 week contract; Day/Night rotating or Night shift options available; Orientation includes 72 hours; Weekend coverage variable based on unit needs; May float to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units

Highlights:

• Specialized 36-bed oncology and progressive care unit with a daily census of 33 patients
• Care for complex hematology-oncology patients including bone marrow transplant recipients and CAR-T therapy patients
• Treat patients with acute and chronic leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and other blood disorders
• Perform autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplant care
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Oncology experience required; Hematology-Oncology experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience; Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy Certification and Oncology Certification preferred (chemo certification not required)
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, and central/PICC line management
• Experience with feeding tube care, nasal cannula administration, and rapid response protocols
• Epic charting experience required
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership position
