Schedule: Night shift (Day/Night rotating shift also available); 13-16 week contract; Self-scheduling with variable weekend coverage based on unit needs; PCU staffing ratios 1:3-1:4, Med/Surg Telemetry 1:4-1:5

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive 318-bed cancer center with specialized oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, and Surgical Oncology
• Float to Med/Surg and PCU Oncology units with diverse patient populations and specialized cancer diagnoses
• Epic EMR system with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and respiratory services
• Comprehensive orientation including first week daytime orientation plus five bedside orientation shifts
• Strong emphasis on infection prevention protocols and patient safety initiatives
• Flexible self-scheduling system with opportunity to enter preferred schedule requests

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of high acuity PCU level or higher experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Oncology experience strongly preferred but not required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of application
• Epic charting experience required
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 or higher
• Skills in chemotherapy administration, port management, blood product administration, central line care, telemetry monitoring, and wound care preferred
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
