Location: Richmond, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend; floating to similar medical-surgical units as needed

Highlights:

• 25-bed orthopedic unit specializing in post-operative hip, knee, spine, and joint procedures
• Purpose-built unit, just over one year old with state-of-the-art equipment and resources
• Patient ratio of 5–6:1 with support from PCTs and unit secretary
• Meditech EMR system; 13-week contract with potential for extension
• TJC Certified Hip and Knee Program with outstanding patient satisfaction scores
• Work alongside experienced nursing staff, many with 20+ years of tenure

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Post-operative patient care experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
