Highlights:

• Care for medically complex and surgically acute patients in a Progressive Critical Care Unit setting
• Average patient ratio of 3:1 with high acuity caseload
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Specialty populations include respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical drip management protocols in place
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission

Requirements:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Competency in medical and surgical patient populations
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamics including vasopressor titration protocols
• Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedation/narcotic infusions, thrombolytics, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, EVD management, orthopedic traction, HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent care
• Large-scale adult PCU experience or community hospital ICU background strongly preferred
