Start Date: February 15, 2026
Location: Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours per week)

Highlights:

• Progressive Care/Surgical Step-Down unit specializing in post-surgical and general medicine patients
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients across all shifts
• 24 hours of orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Two-week contract with one pre-approved day off
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with emphasis on bariatric, colorectal, and general surgical overflow

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or step-down nursing experience
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and IV Certification required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency testing
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring and interpretation, dysrhythmia management, central and PICC line care, blood product administration, and wound care
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (one must be from a formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
