Description
Start Date: ASAP
Location: New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time, multiple shifts available (typical start times between 3pm–7pm). 6 weekend days per 6-week block. 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks.
Highlights:
- Work in a Level I Trauma Center with diverse case mix including trauma, strokes, STEMIs, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, and behavioral health
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
- Minimal floating due to consistent census
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Comprehensive onboarding with structured preceptorship and competency validation
- Full-time assignment with flexibility across multiple shifts
Requirements:
- Active RN License (New Mexico or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience in a Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma Center (within the past year)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA only)
- Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
