Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend; maximum 7 days requested time off

• Specialized Med/Surg unit with a focus on renal care, including hemodialysis catheter management and peritoneal dialysis
• Patient ratio of 1:6 in a 20-bed unit with an average daily census of 18
• Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including sepsis, telemetry monitoring, and CKD management
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication dispensing and SBAR communication protocols
• Orientation provided with 24 hours of onboarding support
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license required at time of application)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed
• Availability to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period
