Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (day/night rotating schedule available); self-scheduling with variable weekend coverage based on unit needs

Highlights:

• 13-16 week travel assignment at a comprehensive cancer center with 318 acute care beds
• Specialized oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, and Surgical Oncology
• Patient ratios typically 1:4, occasionally 1:5; floating to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed
• Epic EMR system required; strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety
• 100 hours of orientation including one week of day shift training followed by bedside orientation
• Interdisciplinary support from IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical level or higher nursing experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references including at least one from a manager or formal supervisor
