Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Every third weekend required | No holidays or on-call | Float to other ICUs as needed

Highlights:

• Work with advanced cardiovascular devices including balloon pump, CRRT, ECMO, cardiac outputs, SWAN, and chest tubes
• Provide specialized post-cardiac surgery care with a focus on open heart patients
• Utilize evidence-based practice and patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
• Collaborate with physicians in a dynamic, high-acuity cardiovascular ICU environment
• Develop and implement individualized care plans through comprehensive patient assessments
• LVAD competency utilized in advanced cardiac care

Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular ICU experience required
• Strong open heart background with experience in telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• Current BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, and Telemetry certifications
• NIHSS and CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certification
• LVAD competency required
