Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, night shift. Rotating weekends (up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Rotating holidays. No call required.

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized Cardiovascular ICU caring for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patients including CABG, valve repairs, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, and ECMO
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal individualized care
• Utilize Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Gain experience with advanced equipment and procedures including Swan Ganz monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT, ventricular assist devices, and temporary pacemakers
• 36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• May be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity level

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Required skills: IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan Ganz monitoring, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
