Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating days/nights with up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period; rotating holidays; no call required

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular ICU experience with complex patient population including post-cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplant, VAD, ECMO, and TAVR patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal individualized care
• Epic EMR system utilized for all documentation
• Limited floating – unit will not rotate travelers more than once every 4 weeks
• 36-hour orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and PA line management
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
