Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with every third weekend; patient ratio of 1:4

Highlights:

• Acute care ortho trauma unit with progressive care (PCU) patients in a 29-bed facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Epic charting system utilized for all documentation
• 72 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• Diverse case mix including trauma, fractures, TBI, wound care, post-surgical orthopedic patients, and complex medical conditions
• Float opportunities within the organization to expand clinical skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of application
• IV certification and proficiency in IV starts, patient monitoring, medication administration, and patient education
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 required
• Trauma Level I experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or director
