Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Highlights:
- 18-bed specialized Blood Cancer/Oncology unit with 3:1 to 4:1 patient ratios
- Award-winning unit: recognized 4 out of 5 years in Unit of Distinction competition, ranking top 2 out of 600 medical-surgical units nationwide
- Advanced equipment including telemetry, Alaris pumps and PCAs, bladder scanners
- EMR: Meditech
- Primary nursing model with strong team-based approach and collaborative culture
- Exposure to complex hematology cases including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis procedures
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Compassionate approach to oncology patient population and chronically ill patients
- Quick learner with adaptability to fast-paced, acute care environment
- Preferred: Chemo and biotherapy certification (required to administer chemotherapy/biotherapy)
- Preferred: Step-down or progressive care experience with standing orders and acute hematology patients
